Marketing and logistics are pivotal elements of a successful global methanol strategy. MGC continues to evaluate logistics based on new terminal locations and adding additional vessels and rail cars to its fleet.
In Venezuela, MGC operates three vessels to support the production from Metor I. Construction of a fourth vessel will be in service to handle the production from the new plant Metor II.
In North America, MGCA owns a highly utilized fleet of rail cars for service from our terminal locations to our customers. Tank truck shipments are also available from each terminal location as well.
In Asia, MGC operates five dedicated ocean vessels within the routes of Al Jubail to Japan and points in between. One additional ship is nearing completion and will be in service Q1 2008. This ship will support the new plant in Saudi Arabia.
