Approved sealing methods for
RP System™ A-type and RP System™ K-type

1. Sealing Machines

You must use a heat sealing machine that can create a hermetic seal. A 10mm platen width is reccomended.
Impulse Sealer
Seals by momentarily applying heat and pressure. A model that heats both sides of the bag is preferable.		 Heat Sealer
Seals the bag by closing it between two healed platens, such as in an endless belt sealer.		 Clip Sealer
The clip sealer can also be used in applications where portability is a concern, or for construction of a large container.

2. Special Clip

The clip is a simple substitute for heat sealing that completely prevents air from entering the container.
After separating the interlocked parts of the clip, press evenly to close them over the mouth of a gas barrier film bag.
Important, Do not attach the clip over foreign substances such as powder, or the label of the bag. Make sure the bag is not creased under the sealing clip.
To remove the clips, detach the two parts at one end and pull apart.
** Warning **
  • Repeated use of the clip may result in poor sealing.
  • The special clip can only be used for storage at room temperature.
  • The special clip is only for use with three-edge sealed bags,
    it will not form a proper seal on gusset or rear pasted bags.
