Recommended containers
for use with the RP System™
MGC-A sells the following bags for use with the RP System. The Multi-Layered Aluminum and Transparent PTS bags are recommended for most industrial uses. Escal is available for use with nonstandard size items, or when long term (in years) preservation is required while still allowing visual inspection, such as in a museum setting. Escal is also available in sheet form (1 meter wide) to construct large containers for cultural preservation.

A hermetically sealed container is necessary for the RP System to be effective. The container must provide a very high barrier against oxygen and moisture. Because of this, bags made of Nylon, Polyethylene, EVOH or PVDC are NOT suitable for use with the RP System.
