Improvement for Other Nylons (Polyamides)

Nylon-MXD6 can dramatically improve the thermoformability and the gas barrier performance of Nylon-6 or Nylon-66. As shown in Table 1.3, with the range of 0-50%, more Nylon-MXD6 in Nylon-6 lowers thermoforming temperature, shortens preheat time. In other words, more nylon-MXD6 can hike the productivity, lower the production cost. The oxygen permeation rate of Nylon-MXD6/Nylon-6 blend film was shown in Figure 1.7. The effect is superior.
