Various Combinations with Other Polymers

Nylon-MXD6 can be easily used in co-extrusion and/or co-injection with not only polyolefine but also other polymers with high processing temperature, like Nylon-6, Nylon-66, Polycarbonate and PET. As shown in Figure 1.6, the processing temperature range of Nylon-MXD6 overlaps those of other various polymers. This is one of the biggest reasons why Nylon-MXD6 is used in PET mulitilayer bottles, PET blend bottles and Nylon-6 blend films and sheets.
