After being dried to less than 0.1% moisture content, the pelletts are stored in moisture-proof bags, thus, no pre-drying will be needed just after opening bags. In order to prevent moisture absorption, a hopper dryer should be set around 80°C (176°F) and flow dry air.

 

Once the moisture content becomes over 0.2%, by exposure to the atmosphere for a long time, vacuum drying is needed. In this case, the drying conditions should be as follows:

   

Temperature: 120~140°C (248~284°F)
Drying Time: 4~5 hours
Vacuum: 0.5~2 mmHG
